  • Sbrisolada is Veneto's revisiting of the most known classic crumb cake called Sbrisolona of Mantua. The “Brisa” in the Mantua dialect is the crumb. The crumb, which are formed when the cake broken are due to the unique dough made with butter, almonds and corn flour.

The Perbellini bakery story starts 130 years ago since when, in 1891, Giovanni Battista Perbellini writes the first page of his recipe book ‘Pasta Lievitata’ (yeast dough). One of the recipes is his own version of ‘Nadalin’ an ancient and traditional Veronese cake, that he calls Offella d’Oro®, still nowadays the key product in Perbellini’s bakery range.

Today Perbellini has a wide production of fresh pastry, puff pastry, sourdough pastry, biscuits and pralines.
